György Sàndor, piano

György Sàndor was born in Budapest and studied there at the Liszt Academy under Bela Bartok (piano) and Zolan Kodaly (composition). He associated with Bartok continued closely up to the composer's death in 1945 and this resulted in him performing the World Premiere of the master's Third Piano Concert in 1946.
